The New Single Copy is the publishing industry’s leading source of news, data, and information about publications and the retail marketplace. Published 45-times annually, it is delivered on Monday morning, by e-mail, or fax. The New Single Copy has been published continuously since July 1996. It is written by John Harrington, who has been involved in the magazine and book distribution business for over 30 years. The cost of an annual subscription is $425 (U.S.).

BIPAD Inc.
The BIPAD numbering system is a magazine industry-unique program. The numbers are encoded in the
UPC barcode on magazine covers and used by magazine wholesaler-distributors and retails to process
the publications through their handling systems. This includes receiving, recording sales, counting
returns, and recording sales for future allocations.
The BIPAD numbering system is managed for BIPAD, Inc. by Harrington Associates, LLC.
